Santa Bárbara Beach - Lovely beach with dark sand and rough waves. One of the best beaches in the Azores. One of the most impressive things about Santa Barbara Beach is its setting. The beach is nestled between two cliffs, which provide a dramatic backdrop and make for some incredible photo opportunities. The beach is known for its excellent surf conditions, making it a popular spot for surfers of all levels.

Liquor Factory - A Mulher de Capote - Originating in the Autonomous Region of the Azores and present on three continents, its motto is the production of natural fruit liqueurs, spirits and other alcoholic products, respecting the most demanding quality standards.

Viewpoint of Santa Iria - One of the best coastal views of the island, from a high cliff, over many miles of the gorgeous north coast. Breathtaking with the cliffs and ocean views for miles around.

Gorreana Tea Factory - Tea plantation and views. Gorreana tea factory that has been operating since 1883, being a family business, has passed from generation to generation and withstood different crises. It is the largest tea factory in São Miguel, where it produces various types of tea, in which Green Tea and Black Tea (Pekoe, Orange Pekoe and Broken Leaf). It is possible to visit and explore the facilities and get to know the whole process and preparation of tea and enjoy a cup of tea at the end of the visit. This place is absolutely beautiful and amazing and of course the tea is delicious.

Viewpoint Pico do Ferro - Enjoy one of the best views of São Miguel Island, over Furnas town and lake. This viewpoint has a excellent and panoramic view over the Furnas lake and valley, from where we can see the dimension of what was the largest volcano on the island of São Miguel.

Terra Nostra Park - Parque Terra Nostra The Furnas Valley became popular towards the end of the 18th century, due to the growing interest in the use of mineral water to treat health problems, such as rheumatism and obesity. Furnas has hundreds of small springs and streams, all with different properties. The Terra Nostra Garden is located in the midst of this magnificent water system. You can decide on a visit to the Natural Park and Botanical Garden Terra Nostra, where the well-known pool of thermal water of brown / orange color is located, due to the concentration of iron in the waters, able to do wonder to our body. Terra Nostra Park - absolutely a must see while on Sao Miguel. From the historical trees from around the world, to the thermal baths with hot water (Admission Ticket Not Included, Entry: 16€).

Furnas Fumaroles - Lake and views, thermal activity. Furnas Fumaroles-is a great area of geothermal activity: sulfur smell, mineral springs, salt deposits on the rocks. Here it is possible to cook typical Azorean cuisine on volcanic soil with high temperatures (Admission Ticket Not Included, Entry: 3€).

Capela de Nossa Senhora das Vitórias - Stop at the Furnas lagoon where you will find the chapel of Nossa Srª das Vitorias, unique in its Gothic style.

Pick-up location

We pick you up anywhere on San Miguel island, including CRUISE ships. For pick up outside of the Ponta Delgada area, the transfer fee is calculated based on the location of the hotel.
